Award-winning Canadian singer-songwriter Jon Mullane has released ‘The Road,’ a five-song EP produced by Toronto’s Creighton Doane and now available on all major platforms. The collection marks Mullane’s first artist-centric set of new original songs since the pandemic.

The project was shaped by Mullane’s time travelling between Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia and Nashville, where he reconnected with longtime collaborators and wrote new material that felt personal and grounded in his own musical path.

Four of the five tracks were co-written in Nashville, including collaborations with Grammy-nominated hit songwriter Michael Dulaney, whose credits include Faith Hill, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, and Rascal Flatts, and songwriter-producer Michael Jay, known for Martika’s Billboard No. 1 hit “Toy Soldiers” and work connected to Celine Dion, Eminem, Gloria Estefan, and New Kids On The Block.

The lead single, “Remember in November,” was co-written with Dulaney and Jay and recorded at Nashville’s Peer Music Publishing studio. Its music video won Best of Canada Music Video at the 2026 California Music Video Awards after receiving three nominations.

The current single, “Moon on Fire,” has climbed to No. 1 on the Yangaroo/DMDS chart while appearing among the Top CANCON Downloads, Most Active Indies, and Top Country Downloads.

Across “Remember in November,” “Moon on Fire,” “Follow Your Own Road,” “One Day Closer,” and “Bring It On,” the EP reflects themes of joy, hope, sadness, purpose, and the satisfaction of following one’s instincts through a long creative journey.

Mullane has released five full-length albums, charted multiple Top 40 Billboard singles in Canada and the U.S., placed music in NBC Olympic Games coverage, and performed at venues including the House of Blues in Hollywood, the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles, and the Molson Canadian Centre in New Brunswick.
